Wynnum is a southern, bayside suburb located 18km East of the Brisbane CBD. Wynnum is bordered by the suburbs of Manly, Wynnum West, and Lytton.

Wynnum’s main shopping precinct is located close to Wynnum Central Train Station.

The area is home to a number of excellent private and public schools including Iona College, Moreton Bay College, Wynnum State School, Wynnum State High School

The Wynnum foreshore is home to Pandanus Beach, the Wynnum Jetty and the heritage-listed Wynnum wading pool. It is a very popular spot for swimming and weekend picnics

The Wynnum Mangrove Boardwalk is another popular spot for walkers and bird watchers.

There are no major employers in the suburb and many residents commute to the Brisbane CBD for work
